Excellent, more firepower to chop off the props then. WWI planes when you shot from a frontal gun sawed off the props, you shot your rounds then glided back to base.

Yup, that's why the life expectancy of a pilots was one day. Air superiority was easily achieved.

The sync mechanism wasn't event till later. It was just before WWII broke out, or during it, I forget. It's still to early for it though.
Right now, above maybe, but quite a few were with it, many were actually back mounted though, if you were really good(Or a suicidal pilot) you would get your hands on a front mounted and be able to glide in. The planes made reasonable gliders.

Aye, every seen Flyboys? Machine guns were in sync with the props during WW1, not at the start i don't think but at least by mid-war.

WW2 most planes moved the guns away from the props a little, look at the hurricane, prevents that problem ] @soul... possibly... but then nathan will push me off a tall building... using zombies...
