Well, this is just a little thread to give you an idea as to what the UK or France or Germany would be like and what can you expect.

What was it like? Hmph, it was fuck is what it was liked. Those things were everywhere, you were constantly watching your back. Some people had just lost their minds, trying to dig through their concrete floor to find a place to hide is one example.
The governments, they tried to 'contain the situation'. What use that was, their big plan was to bomb heavily populated areas where they 'thought' there were a good number of creatures. They just bombed everything they could. London got hit the worst. Buildings collapsed into the narrow streets blocking many off. Buildings caught fire. Skies were turned red and black.
Germany wasn't much help. We got a transmition that Berlin was overrun, and when we went to go liberate Berlin, we found no humans. Just one large city of the living dead. Their government had run to the mountains like cowards. France, well at least they held out. They just holed up in the heart of Paris, sending out patrols via the sewers.
For anybody to have a good chance of survival, you wanted to head out into the farm lands and such away from the cities. Find a hidy hole and just wait. Lots of people were lost that way to, and no one ever knew they were gone.
America sent a lot of help, not that it was needed. We were doing just fine. But it sure made things a bit easier.
Volley firing seemed to work well with the long rifles in the streets. The creatures would make a mass charge, and we'd just send volley after volley into them, cutting down ten's of them. Wasn't enough though, there was lots of hand to hand combat. Bayonets were a godsend. They saved a few skins, keeping the things at a distance.
Notes: Hale suffers from severe PTSD, and has a hard time focusing on one subject. He often jumps from subject to subject.
