Inventory Sub-board?

Hey mates what say you we have an inventory sub-board where we can keep track of our inventories rather than edit our original character sheets? That would make things easier eh?

I would suggest we keep track of the weight of the items too but that is entirely up to you.

Something like this:
[shadow=red,left,300]Inventory:[/shadow]

Weapons:
Weapon1
Weapon2

Ammunition:
.303 British= x

Items:
Flashlight
Matchbox
Etc.

Money:
$5.12

Or something like that I guess.

I'd like to keep it in the character sheet, so any body can access anything else they need to see. Without having to jump around everywhere.

But, We can reformat to your format, which seems a bit easier to read.

Well I just thought that editing your character sheet every time means going through the entire thing and looking for entries. On the other hand with a clear inventory post you will edit when needed this will make things easier. The very format of the forums makes it impossible to not "jump around" I will make a poll for that I guess to keep things honest.

Heh, good point. But I'm trying to keep the 'jumping around' down to a minimum.

Yeah, no one said we couldn't make the inventory as a separate post in our Char Sheet threads...

I can go with that. That makes it easy for everyone to edit and find their inv's. And for me to glance at their Character Sheet, and Inv. No jumping either (other than scrolling).

Only thing i see that could be a tad of trouble, is in order for it to be nice and clean, we'd have to save all the bios, then clear the boards, and everyone would have to put the saved bios back up for immediate approval, and immediately below their bio sheet, the next post would be their inventory.

A little work for everyone, so that you may edit your posts still. I can save and clear everything, then I'll put your bio's back up for claiming in one thread in the Depot. In the end i think it'd be a lot cleaner and such though.

Switched my bio over to the idea of having the inventory in a separate post, just to show what I mean. Modified one of my posts before it's approval to do so, anyway that just shows my basic idea using the current system.

Ok I have followed Jonathon's example and changed my Inventory to a lower post. Nathan or someone, could you please Check it and clean up the extra posts? Thanks a bunch!
