Breaking and Enter - Were you a thief in your past life, or did you just pick up some pointers from a TV Show? With this skill you'll be able to excel at getting in to locked places. Your character will know to pick locks with various tools and without breaking the lock. They are also more adapt at finding alternate routes in to heavily locked areas.
Tinkering - Any person who is technical will have an easy time obtaining this skill. The 'Tenkering' allows you to repair broken equipment, design new gear and weapons out of salvage, and maybe even rig up an electronical device or vehicle if your good enough at it. When Tinkering and the Explosives skill are combined, they can produce destructive results
Firearms - The new age has ushered in firearms wielded by humans to make killing just that much easier. Though they arn't easy to use or maintain. A character with this skill will have the knowledge on how to efficiently shoot a weapon and maintain it depending on their skill level. People who have Mastered it will be able to use a wide variety of projectile weapons with effectiveness.
Explosives - Who doesn't love the smell of napalm in the morning? If your character has the Explosives skill they will be able to arm and prep destructive weapons such as land mines, frag grenades, and anything that goes BOOM! They can also disarm certain explosives depending on their knowledge in the skill. If your skill level is high enough and you have the Rigging skill, then you can even make your own home made explosives. I'd hate to be on the recieving end of a land mine loaded with forks.
Wingman - The Wingman skill refers to the character's ability to fly aircraft. You must be a trained pilot in order to get behind the controls of a plane or helicopter. Those interested in taking to the skies then this is your type of skill. This skill may only be obtained from taking pilot classes ICly, but good luck finding any.
Survivorman - Alright so you've seen the show on Discovery Channel a few times. That or your a trained Boy Scout! This skill grants you the knowledge and techniques on how to survive in the wilderness when you have little or nothing. The higher level of mastery in this skill, the more you'll know and the better you'll be at it. Does rubbing sticks together to make a fire and living in a shelter made of tree branches and leaves stick out to you?
Medic! - Not everyone in this world knows how to set a broken bone or stitch up a nasty gash. Those with this skill will have knowledge ranging from Basic First Aid to highly risky operations. If this is a Minor Skill you will know basic First Aid techniques. Those with this as a Superior Skill will know how to fix more serious injuries and apply drugs like morphine. Masters of the skill can perform operations and are commonly Doctors or Surgeons. Those who specialize in it are Surgeons who have a good success rate.
Martial Arts - Are you the next Bruce Lee? This is for any character who wants to be able to drop someone to their knees with one finger. If you specialize in this skill, then you'll be a deadly foe with no weapon and even have a chance of dismantling someone's firearm (if you are lucky enough to get close enough.) Those who have it as a Minor Skill know where to hit someone, but arn't proficient enough to pull out a roundhouse kick to the side of their head
Land Navigation - Want to make some money scouting people through the Wastelands? This is the skill to have. With this skill you can easier find locations, organize ambushes (or avoid them), and cut down your travel time. Your the one to go to when everyone else is lost. Most military characters already have this training.
Lab Rat - This is the Science skill. If you want to be able to mix and match chemicals to make deadly or helpful components, then this is your best bet. Those proficient in the Lab Rat skill can go hand in hand with the Medical field, making a more successful doctor. The Science skill is known as a 'kicker' skill, it can be combined to nearly anything other skill to make rather cool results.
Military Training - Basic Firearms, Basic Land Navigation, Basic Explosions. Several months of screaming Drill Instructors and long days have finally paid off.
Grease Monkey - A savvy mechanic or just a hobby, whatever the case, with this skill you can repair and maintain vehicles. Masters and Specialists in this skill can even build certain vehicles and fix military grade vehicles. This skill can go hand in hand with rigging to create a custom vehicle.
Free Running - Free Running takes some talent, daring, and athletism. With Free Running you can do things some thought unimaginable. Free Runners can leap buildings tops (within reason), climb anything that has something to grip, walk narrow surfaces, and Masters of the skill can even run up a wall for a short distance, its something out of a Bruce Lee movie! [[Think Assassin's Creed for reference.]]
Blades - Everyone now - a - days want to be a regular Spartan or Ninja, but the reality is to use a bladed weapon in combat properly requires lots of skill and finess. The different skill levels allow you to effectively wield larger and more deadly styles of blades. Being a Master of the blade allows you to fight like Achilles himself! You can even handle two blades at once with ease and agility. Specialists in the Blade form are nearly unbeatable when it comes to a one on one square off. They know the in and outs of how to slice and dice you. This skill goes hand in hand with agility. But! Remember this saying.. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.
Driver's Liscense - Vehicles aren't for everyone yet. It takes some one with good skill to drive one well. And guess what, you've got it! You can drive a tranport truck like no one else, and specialists can even drive a tank, assuming the streets will allow it.

Strength - So your a tough guy, huh? The higher your strength the more stuff you'll be able to carry and the more fight you'll put up when in a one on one situation. Strength is a must have if your going to survive
Speed - Be an Olympian or just a daily jogger. With speed you'll be able to outrun anything if a situation goes sour. Speed also helps with your response in combat and how quick you are. Those who are wishing to play scouts, thieves, or hitmen may find speed a useful attribute.
Smarts - Your cunning and witty, we get it. With Smarts your character will be able to out-think the competition and out wit anything trying to get him/her. Smarts benefits to certain skills also, with this you'll be able to think up solutions to rather imposing problems.
Toughness - Can you be shot nine times and keep fighting, or do you cry when you have a hang nail? This is what toughness is all about. If your character has a high toughness rating, then he'll be able to keep on going after recieving some brutal wounds.
Observation - See your enemies before they see you. The Observation skill is useful for everyone. You'll be able to spot even the slightest movements and can even find hidden supplies during a scavaging party. It may be buried under that turned over shelf, but it can't slip past your eyes!
Ambition - If you've got the drive to succeed then you certainly will. Those with ambition have a higher rate of sucess when requesting anything. They are less likely to give up when morale is low and are often the leaders or soon become the leader of anything.
The Entrepreneur - If your wanting to start your own Wasteland Trading Company then you better have this ability. With The Entrepreneur you can talk someone in to buying a shotgun with no trigger! It jacks up your charisma and knowledge in the business field. A must have for anyong wanting to make a living selling off things in the Wastelands.
Courage - People with this attribute are the ones you want fighting for you. If you have courage then you will take on the toughest and more dangerous tasks with little fear or worry. This is a useful trait to have when your line of work takes you in to the Wastelands.
Athletics - Can you score touchdowns on Friday nights? Or are you just a backyard baller? Athletics are nearly a requirement for anyone wanting to survive the Outbreak. With Athletics you can easily out manuever and out run nearly anything. It also grants boosts to your strength and wit. Athletes will be able to adapt to situations and overcome using free running methods, their speed, and or quickness.
