Looking out over the small group of men that made up his company stationed in London, a few others being scattered at other areas due to them being split when the outbreak began, Erik smiled. This should be a reasonable fight.
They were gathered on the edge of the green zone, packed up with supplies, Tina being sent out to scout an area for a good base. The area that was decided to check first was uptown, and they were moving out to meet her there, finally making a move to set up there own base of operations away from the prying eyes of what was left of the British government.
He looked out over the men as the front gates were opened, saying, "Alright men, move out. We're heading to the meeting zone on the south end of Uptown. Three gunners guard the rear, two on each side, rest of you in front and middle. Keep an eye on the skies and the other around. Remember, we want to minimize attention, so try to keep it down as we move. I want this to be clean and efficient, as is our way. Move out."
He then began moving forward, keeping his eyes and ears peeled. for any trouble that may pop up.

Seraph was standing closest to Erik during the speech, making sure to catch the details, all while making sure his guns were in good working order. He kept near the middle of the formation, one gun held in his right hand and the other holstered near his right ribs. He kept his breathing normal as he moved through hostile territory, making sure to pick up his feet when he walked. He never drug his feet in enemy area, it was to risky.

24 January 1924 14:30 hours (2:30pm) Overcast, -1 deg C (30.2 deg F)
As Erik headed to the meeting zone, Tina was searching for a good place to hold up in and use as a base of operations for Erik's group. What was needed was simple, it needed to be intact and defend able. But in this area, intact was difficult to find, and if they were intact, difficult to defend. The other problem were the zombies. They were all over the place, which made the hunting more difficult.
Walking quietly, nearly stalking, down the street, Tina searched for both the zombies and a good place. As she neared the next corner, gliding down the fence line, she saw a decent sized mansion on the north side of the street. The amazing thing was that it was nearly intact. The garage behind and to the west was completely destroyed. It was just a pile of rubble, stone and wood. The mansion was small as they go, and had most all of its windows boarded up. Just a couple on the first floor and the door were broken in.
"Hmm those would be easy to fix if we can find a hammer and some nails. We can use the wood from the garage," she thought.
Deciding to take a better look around, Tina slipped across the street, heading north beside the low hedge row that bordered the property. Taking it slow and easy, she crept along til she came to the rubble of the garage, and could see behind the house. Whoever had this place didn't like any thing close to the house. No plants, shrubs, or trees within 50 feet of the house, no ivy trellis climbing the walls.
Now that she had seen the grounds, it was time to check the inside. Her luck it was crawling with vermin, the large zombie kind! With no zombies in site she hurried to the house. There were no windows to look in on this side, they were all boarded up, so she had to go around to the front. At the corner of the house, she saw that there was an unboarded window 30 feet from her. With her rifle cocked and ready, she glided to the window and had a look.

Sliding past the opening, her shadow drifted across the dimly lit room. On her first glance, she noticed that it was probably some type of library or study. There were two desks on either end of the long room, which spanned the entire length of the building, and was about 45 feet deep. In the middle was a circle of chairs and love seats, and shelves of books lined the walls.
Leaning up against the outside wall, she took a look at the window, or what was left of it. A couple of boards had evidently previously barricaded it, but were now broken away. Blood was splattered everywhere around the window, and it looked like it trailed inside. No doubt where the undead had broken in. Or out.
Listening to her surroundings and hearing nothing out of the ordinary, well at least for a zombie outbreak, she leaned into the room. Again, seeing nothing hostile, she reached up to brace herself on the sides of the window, and pulled herself through.
Dropping to the floor, she scanned the room again. Nothing moved but a few blood splattered papers on the floor. One of two doors exiting from the room was broken inward, suggesting that what ever was previously in this room, had gone further inside.
Tina needed to make a choice. The rest of her team would be arriving soon, and she needed to secure a place for them to set up. This house would be ideal, however, being alone, it would be unwise to attempt to secure the entire house alone. But, the room she was currently in, could be easily barricaded and secured, as a foothold for securing their objective.

[OOC: I saw an problem with my first post. I said I had a pistol, but I own a rifle. I changed the last sentence only.]
Tina was pleased that she had found what seemed to be the perfect base for the group. But looking around, she knew that she would have to secure it before heading to the meeting location. Quickly inspecting the room again, she made a decision. She went to the set of closed doors first shouldering her rifle, and grabbing a straight backed wooden chair with her. She propped the chair back under the door knobs shoving the chair hard into the door. Once done, she checked to make sure it would hold.
Satisfied, she went to the other set of doors. These would prove more of a challenge. She checked the nearest desk to see how easy it would move for her, but it was way too heavy. Instead she went to the nearest love seat. It was a carved wood love seat with flowery cushions. She dragged that over to the broken doors, propping it up similarly to the chair before.
With both doors barricaded, she crept back to the open window, and unshouldered her rifle. Looking out she still saw no zombies in the area. Carefully climbing out of the window, she checked the sun as she took off to meet her group at the south edge of the uptown area. Fortunately the meeting spot was only half a mile to the south west of the mansion. She hoped that her luck would hold and she would see few if any zombies on her way.

Seraph and co. made their way to the rendevouz without to much trouble. A quick scuffle with a crawler was the only thing that pierced the otherwise dull trek. Seraph kept up the cautious walk, and his right pistol still graced his right hand with its presence. His white wiping cloth in his left breast pocket had been messed with, though. The only reason it was ever touched was to wipe clean his machette. Nothing else seemed to be out of place, so the operation seemed to be going off without a hitch. When the rendevouz was reached, Seraph eased up just a bit, so he could relax a bit, but stay ready to go.

As they arrived at the location, Erik motioned for his men to spread out and clear out any nearby zombies silently, and then settle in in readiness till Tina got back
"Looks like we made it first." He mumbled to Seraph.

Tina makes her way down the last block to the meeting place. Her trip here was nearly uneventful, seeing only a scattered few zombies that she was able to avoid or kill quietly with her knife. Seeing Erik and Seraph, Tina walks over to them. "I have found a promising location. It is a manse with open grounds and a destroyed garage. I have an entry point secured on the first floor. We just need to secure the rest of the house and property and it will be all set for us." She takes a drink from her canteen. "It is only a half mile north east of here." Kneeling down, Tina draws a quick map in the dirt. "We go east on this street here, til we get to this corner. Then it is straight north to the manse. There were few zombies on my way here. Let's hope that it is the same heading back. We can head off when ever we're ready."

Seraph reholstered his handgun, and drew out his machette. "I'm ready to roll." The blade seemed to agree as a dull gleam followed along the curved blade. Oh, how many heads had fallen off their bodies because of this blade. But, not a drop of blood stained it. Seraph saw to that, almost always cleaning it after a skirmish with his trusty rag in his left breast pocket. Seraph took a quick swig of water, then fell back into formation.

Glancing at the map, Erik looked around and strained his ears listening. He motioned for them to reform, and looking over his men, took point. He pulled out his small revolver, knowing that he'd prefer not to get in close enough for a knife, and knowing Seraph likely would do his deadly thing.
He pulled his men forward, carefully searching the buildings for any signs of zombies, knowing that this was proving a tad to easy. But, he kept them quickly moving forward towards their objective.
((Should we have an encounter now, or just wait for the house?))

Unbeknownaced to the group of merc's, a danger was following them. And when they stopped for the meeting, it was the perfect chance to group and attack. Just as the team started back off towards the house, the climbers pounced. From the tops of buildings on either side, came 7 climbers, all scurrying down the sides of the buildings like ants. The team had just started off and was in the middle of the block, with only two avenues of escape. And the climbers would be in pouncing distance any second.

Seraph looked to the left of the formation. This wasn't unexpected, but it surely was going to be an annoyance. He quickly unholstered his left handgun and broke formation left, effectively knocking over a fellow merc. After a quick muttered apology that Seraph wasn't sure if the other merc heard, he took aim at the seven climbers on his side, counting in the wind direction and speed, and shot a single bullet at each one, aiming for their heads. If any shots were to miss, he had his machette ready to swat down any pouncers that might come close with a quick vertical strike.

Tina unslung her rifle as they started off to the new base. To her right she spotted a group of climbers coming towards them. Quickly she dropped to her knee and took aim at the first one. She fired at its head, then aimed at the next and the next. She fired at four of them quickly, hopeful that she killed them all.
